DAYS 1-6 DELHI TO KOLKATA Savor the sights and sounds of Old Delhi, and in Agra, explore the Agra Fort and witness the sensational Taj Mahal at both sunrise and sunset. Tour Amber Fort and the palaces of the “pink city” of Jaipur, including the “Palace of the Winds,” then fly to Kolkata on Day 6 and board the Ganges Voyager .

Spring Voyage to Japan ABOARD THE MINERVA
Experience Japan in spring, when cherry blossoms abound near spectacular feudal castles. Explore Himeji, with its World Heritage-listed castle, and stroll among the ponds at the 16th century Koraku-en Garden. Visit Hiroshima’s serene Peace Memorial Park and the famous Shinto shrine at Miyajima, then call at the castle-town of Haji. Visit Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park, then explore Miyajima’s Itsukushima Shrine, a holy place of Shintoism and home to an iconic “floating” torii gate. Hagi is best known for its well-preserved castle town, a World Heritage Site, and you’ll also visit Matsue Castle, with its five-story facade.
DAY 7-13 ULSAN TO OSAKA In South Korea, explore Gyeongju Historic Areas, with their outstanding examples of Korean Buddhist art. Back in Japan, visit Nagasaki, learn about the variety of incredible ecosystems of seldom-visited Yakushima Island, see Uwajima, one of the few original Edo-period castles, and visit the open-air museum at Takamatsu.
