Magellan Explorer Named after the famous explorer Ferdinand Magellan, the Magellan Explorer was custom built for Antarctic fly-cruising. Though she has a capacity of 100 passengers, guest capacity is limited to 71 to ensure the ultimate small-ship experience. She offers a variety of comfortable accommodations including dedicated single cabins. All cabins except porthole cabins have private balconies, and all double cabins (except two) have two twin beds that can be configured as one king- size bed. There’s a glass-enclosed observation lounge, an outdoor observation deck, a presentation room, spacious dining room, well-stocked bar, library, meeting room, gym, sauna, and medical clinic, and she carries a fleet of 10 Zodiacs for shore excursions and wildlife viewing. Antarctica Air Cruise, p. 9

Hondius & Janssonius As the world’s first-registered Polar Class 6 passenger vessels, the 170-guest Hondius and Janssonius rank among the most structurally fortified and technologically advanced polar cruise vessels sailing the seas. Their stabilizers make them highly suitable for swift and safe exploration of Arctic and Antarctic waters, and they carry a fleet of Zodiacs to enable exciting shore excursions. Comfortable accommodations range from quadruple porthole cabins to grand suites with balconies, and lectures and presentations are held in a large observation lounge, as well as an additional lecture room. A crew of 72, including expedition and hotel staff, services the ships and passengers. Multiple Antarctic cruises, pp. 6-8

Heritage Adventurer The 140-guest Heritage Adventurer (formerly known as MS Hanseatic ) boasts the highest passenger ship ice-class rating (1A Super), and has an impressive history of remote exploration. On board, enjoy stylish accommodations spanning four decks; visit the captain and crew in the Bridge; and dine on gourmet fare from leading Australasian chefs. Watch your adventure unfold from spectacular indoor and outdoor viewing locations and join a renowned team of naturalists, botanists, historians, and other experts as they interpret the natural and human history discovered during each voyage. Need a little R&R? Unwind in the library, pool, gym, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. A fleet of 14 Zodiacs maximizes your expedition experience. Discover the Secrets of Melanesia, p. 32
