This exciting voyage brings you from the ethereal landscapes of Greenland and across the Davis Strait to Labrador and Newfoundland, with their rugged coastlines, native cultures, and fascinating archaeological sites. Along the way, you’ll sail through Kangerlussuatsiaq Fjord, with its calving glaciers and sheer cliffs full of birds, stop in at Nuuk, the charming capital of Greenland, and spend three days exploring Torngat Mountains National Park, Labrador, in the company of Inuit guides. Heading to the southern Labrador coast, you’ll enjoy opportunities for hiking, Zodiac excursions, and archaeological discoveries including the reconstructed Viking habitation at L’Anse aux Meadows, the only authenticated Norse settlement in North America, before concluding your journey with a warm welcome at the island communities that dot the Newfoundland coast.

DAYS 1-4 KANGERLUSSUAQ, GREENLAND, TO DAVIS STRAIT Embark on the Ocean Endeavour and sail out of Kangerlussuaq Fjord, a 115-mile-long fjord surrounded by mountains and glaciers. Along the way, cross the Arctic Circle and enter Kangerlussuatsiaq, a complex coastal waterway with calving glaciers, sheer bird cliffs, and streams cascading against a towering mountain backdrop. After a stop in Nuuk and a visit to the Greenland National Museum, head through the Davis Strait toward Labrador. Keep your binoculars ready to spot whales and seabirds who follow in the ship’s wake. DAYS 5-9 TORNGAT MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK TO NAIN, CANADA Explore the treeless, mountainous tundra of Torngat Mountains National Park on hikes and Zodiac cruises, and visit archaeological sites in the company of Inuit guides. Be on the lookout for marine mammals, polar and black bears, caribou, falcons, and eagles. Enjoy cultural encounters at the historical sites of Hebron and Nain, sites of former Moravian missions, before continuing along the Labrador coast.
